Munich, 15. December 2018 8:00 to 0:00

Sorry, all places are taken!

Salzburg’s historic centre, UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, is internationally renowned for its baroque architecture. It is one of the best-preserved historic cities north of the Alps, with no less than 27 churches. Salzburg has three universities and a large student population.  Countless tourists visit this lovely city each year. So will the regional group Munich.

Our train ride takes about two hours. Upon our arrival we will have a two hour guided walking tour in English, covering Salzburg Cathedral, Mirabell Gardens, the house where Mozart was born, Getreidegasse, and of course the historic centre of Salzburg. After a lunch break together we will have time e. g. to visit the Hohensalzburg Fortress (Festung Hohensalzburg) which overlooks the Old Town and is one of the largest castles in Europe.

Before we head back for Munich at around 18:00, we wrap up the day together at one of the Christmas markets.

15 participants. Registration starts when invitation has been mailed.
