Munich, 19. October 2018 20:00 to 23:45

The regional group Munich is delighted to experience the New York Band Elysian Fields at the great Milla-Club. Elysian Fields, made up of charismatic singer Jennifer Charles and Oren Bloedow a. o. on guitars and keyboard, came out of New York’s legendary Knitting Factory, a hotbed of musical exploration and genre mixing and a hub of the vibrant 1990s downtown scene. They were drawn together by a mutual love of The Beatles, Billie Holiday, Charles Mingus, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Captain Beefheart, Ravi Shankar, Frederic Chopin and Olivier Messiaen… Their style has been described as ‚noir rock‘, due to its sultry, dark and mysterious sound and lyrics.

At the Milla, Elysian Fields will introduce their new album ‚Pink Air‘ which the band describes as a ‚post-apocalyptic rock & roll joyride.‘ www.milla-club.de/konzert-elysian-fields/
