The speaker will be ÁNGELA LEÓN CÁCERES, Global Coordinator at Women4GlobalFund, a US-based international NGO fighting for women´s and girls´ rights and gender equality around the world. Ángela, a DAAD alumna from Ecuador, holds a Master’s degree in international health from the University of Heidelberg and is certified in primary and community health from the Charité Medical University in Berlin. She has dedicated the past ten years to fostering gender equality, generating scientific evidence for decision-making and underpinning the importance of public health for community development.
