Düsseldorf, 19. May 2019 10:30 to 0:00

Dear fellows and DAAD-friends,

we would like to get to know you and as well meet some familiar faces. Therefore we would like to invite you to the next event of the DAAD-Freundeskreis: Next SundayMay 19th, we are planning a little hike from Düsseldorf to the beautiful Kaiserswerth!

The track leads along the Rhine promenade and is more or less 10 km long. It is an easy route without any gradients, making the route suitable for everybody. To get back we can take a bus or the underground train.

Kaiserswerth is the oldest part of Düsseldorf. The historic centre, being about 1300 years old, provides beautiful baroque houses, the “Kaiserpfalz” – ruins emperor Barbarossa´s castle and it displays a different side of our familiar city. After the hike we will have the opportunity to stop off at a traditional german Biergarten.

We will meet on Sunday, 19 May 2019 at 10:30 am at the Fortuna-Büdchen (close to the underground-station “Tonhalle”, you can just look for “Fortuna-Büdchen” on google maps and it should lead you there).

Please let us know, if you would like to join us, indicating your phone number and name to fk-duesseldorf@daad-alumni.de.

We are looking forward to meeting you (again) soon!
Sam, Cecily, Friederike, Lena and Hannah
