Munich, 20. February 2019 19:30 to 21:45

Sorry, all tickets are taken!

The celebrated current production of ‚King Arthur‘ (with its libretto by famous John Dryden, and first performed in London in 1691) was first staged by the Gärtnerplatztheater in 2016, when this theatre was still in exile due to renovation. It is quite a spectacular performance with a huge cast and includes ballet, acting, and choir scenes. The eventful story of the conflict between two kings, legendary King Arthur and his adversary, the Saxon King Oswald, who are divided privately as well as politically and religiously, is an exciting experience, both theatrically and musically.
