The RG Munich undertakes another mountain hike: We travel to Schliersee by train and walk, mostly through the forest in the shade, up to Bodenschneidhaus. The weather forecast is fine, but we might get rain in the evening. If the weather stays ok, we will continue to the summit of Bodenschneid. In the evening we descend to Tegernsee, from where we take the train back to Munich.

The hike is not difficult, but it is quite long, and elevation gain to the summit is about 900 m, so participants need to be reasonably fit!

Equipment: basic provisions, sturdy hiking shoes, suitable clothes incl. rain gear.

Trains from Tegernsee back to Munich run about every half hour.
