The Munich Philharmonic MPhil is one of the city’s word-class orchestras. Canadian soprano Barbara Hannigan, “one of the great musicians on this planet” (Sir Simon Rattle), will both conduct MPhil and sing. She stands out for her unusual  programme selections. A regular guest conductor with MPhil and other international top-notch orchestras, she can make even “difficult” music accessible and enjoyable like hardly anybody else.
