Munich, 7. December 2017 20:00 to 22:30

Münchner Kammerorchester MKO (Munich Chamber Orchestra), one of Munich’s leading orchestras, stands out for juxtaposing pieces of the classical repertoire with new music compositions. At the Prinzregententheater we get to hear, combined with two Haydn symphonies, cello concertos by György Ligety and Tobias PM Schneid. The Schneid piece was commissioned by MKO, we will hear its first ever performance.

MKO will be conducted by John Storgårds, and young cello star Maximilian Hornung will appear as soloist.
