Munich, 16. May 2020 8:30 to 0:00

The RG Munich travels to beautiful Regensburg, a city with an illustrious history since the times of the Romans. Its medieval old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Guided by DAAD alumnus Johannes Sicklinger, a native of Regensburg who is very knowledgeable about the city and its history (as we already experienced last year), we take a tour of the old town and visit the Old Town Hall with the Reichstag Museum. This museum documents the importance of the Holy Roman Empire for German and European history and in relation to the city’s history. From the end of the 16th century, the Reichstag was held in the town hall.

Depending on the weather, we then have the opportunity to get to know Regensburg better on our own and/or to deepen individual aspects.
