We will experience „La llegada/Die Ankunft“ by Teatro Subversum at the renowned Schwabing theatre Heppel & Ettlich, with DAAD alumnus Hugo de las Heras as ensemble member. The ensemble of Teatro Subversum is made up of immigrants, primarily from Spain and Latin America, who studied theatre in their home countries. La llegada/Die Ankunft, in the tradition of the theatre of the absurd, combines words (in Spanish with German surtitles) by authors Alonso de Santos, P. Calderón de la Barca, L. Esquivel, Y. N. Harari, and E. Galeano, with music, dance and video art. The composition was created by director Cecilia Bolaños. Since the piece does not rely on words alone, the performance can be enjoyed without a knowledge of Spanish or German.
