The regional group Düsseldorf invites you to a tour through the blood donation center of  the University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD).

Time: Saturday, June 25th, 2022, at 10:30 a.m.

Meeting point: At the Blood Donation Center UKD, Moorenstr. 5, building 12.43, first floor.

After a short presentation about blood, its characteristics and importance – we will give an insight to single production steps of blood components. After a snack and if you are interested, you can experience a blood donation yourself, in case you carry a valid ID and are familiar with the German language (see UKD_Blutspenderfragebogen_20220228.pdf (uniklinik-duesseldorf.de).

Due to the Corona pandemic, and since we belong to the University Hospital, the 3G rules (vaccinated, recovered, tested) apply upon entrance of the building, see Blutspendezentrale ǀ UKD (uniklinik-duesseldorf.de). Please also mind wearing a medical face mask.
