The regional group Munich experiences a special and very much alive aspect of Bavarian culture: We will go see the Festzug (pageant in traditional dress) with brass-band music, festively decorated horse-drawn carriages and traditional dance in the course of the Loisachgaufest in Baierbrunn. The festival is hosted by the local folklore society GTV ‚Georgenstoana’.

GTV ‚Georgenstoana‘ Baierbrunn e.V., founded 99 years ago, is one of 26 Trachtenvereine in the Loisachgau (region named for the Bavarian river Loisach). There will also be 30 other Trachtenvereine/groups in the parade. trachtenverein-baierbrunn.de/gaufest-2018/
