Wuppertaler Visiodrom, 7. May 2022 16:00 to 19:00
The DAAD Scholarship holders from Wuppertal and other close cities will visit Europe’s and worldwide unique reconstructed Gaskessel in Wuppertal, where the Humans 2021 exposition takes place.
The HUMANS expo, a visually stunning homage to humanity, represents a celebration of diversity, a tribute to nature, and an immersion into the fantastic complexity of the existence of every culture on our planet.
The event will consist in attending a 360° panoramic tour on the 70 meter high Gaskessel with a view over Wuppertal, enjoying a projection show on Europe’s largest 40-metre-high 360° screen, and viewing the photo exhibition of the three photographers of HUMANS.
Due to an unforseen miscalculation, the Event was rescheduled from 14.05. to 07.05. 2022.
Those who are interested in visting the exposition are kindly asked to confirm their intention by sending a short e-mail to fk-wuppertal@daad-alumni.de

“We are stunned and shocked by Russia’s attack on Ukraine. As DAAD alumni, we stand for international exchange, for getting to know new cultures and for peaceful coexistence. The appeal for help by DAAD alumnus Igor O. Girka from Kharkiv shows the brutality and violence of the Russian rulers in their invasion of a sovereign state, leading to unimaginable suffering. Our deep solidarity goes out to all Ukrainians at this difficult time – including those who are studying in Germany on a DAAD scholarship and fear for their country. We are glad that many Russians think the same way and have the courage to condemn the war of aggression in clear words. We know: Wars know no winners, only losers.
The DAAD circle of friends and its regional groups are available as contact persons for the DAAD scholarship holders affected.”
