You can also register for emails from your local Regional Group so you never miss an event.

Any DAAD scholarship holder can attend our events, even if you aren’t a member of DAAD Alumni & Friends.

Become a member today to continue participating in our events and contribute to the work of DAAD Alumni & Friends after your scholarship has concluded.

We are always delighted to welcome new members who support the objectives of the DAAD and the DAAD Alumni & Friends. Most of our members are DAAD alumni who have previously received funding from the DAAD, but it’s not a problem if you have never held a DAAD scholarship. We are delighted to welcome anyone with a passion for international and intercultural exchange to join us.

You can apply to become a member through our website or by post. Click here to find out all about becoming a member. As a new member, you’ll even get a little welcome gift from us when you join!

There are DAAD Alumni & Friends groups in 30 cities across the whole of Germany. Check out the map to find the Regional Group in your area.

If your city doesn’t have a Regional Group of its own you can join another one nearby.
