Active Participation in Regional Groups

Many of our members contribute to the rich and varied programmes offered by our Regional Groups. Some Regional Groups are tiny, some very large, but even our biggest groups are always on the lookout for extra help. What matters most is that you love getting to know people from all over the world.

What can you do?

We value any contribution you can make, whether it’s with a single event, now and then or on a regular basis: you decide how much time you feel is right for you. There are so many ways you can get involved in DAAD Alumni & Friends and our Regional Groups. You could

organise trips or excursions
offer a tour around a museum, city or even your own business
share your expertise and facilitate discussions

Set up your own Regional Group

If your city doesn’t have a Regional Group and you want to support DAAD Alumni and Friends, we would be delighted to help you set up a new Regional Group. We will send you information with examples of best practice and will be happy to help you find volunteers in other groups so you can benefit from their experiences.
