The topic will be:

Autocratization and Academic Freedom

The speaker will be Dr. Angelo Panaro, a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Political Science at Friedrich Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg. After getting a BA with distinction in Political Science from the University of Bologna and an MA in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan), the Italian native received his PhD degree in Political Science from Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa/Florence. Dr. Panaro has worked as a visiting fellow at research centers in Bremen and Vienna, as a postdoctoral researcher at the universities of Bielefeld and Milan and as an adjunct professor at the University of Bologna.
