Kunst und Leben im Plattenbau The exhibition at Kunsthaus MINSK features around 50 works of art that deal with East German prefabricated housing estates in art. (Further information: https://dasminsk.de/ausstellungen/5899/wohnkomplex) About the building: The former terrace restaurant “Minsk” was built in the modernist style of the GDR between 1971 and 1977 on the Brauhausberg in Potsdam, based on a design by architects Karl-Heinz Birkholz and Wolfgang Müller. In 2019, the Hasso Plattner Foundation acquired the building, intending to renovate and reopen it. The exhibition at Kunsthaus MINSK features around 50 works of art that deal with East German prefabricated housing estates in art.
