The next “Heidelberg Talks Online” meeting takes place on Friday, August 6, 8-10 pm CET (Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna).
The topic will be “The Indian Puzzle: From colonial rule to post-colonial democracy”.
The speaker will be Prof. Subrata K. Mitra, Ph.D. (Rochester), Emeritus Professor of Political Science at Heidelberg University, Germany, and Adjunct Professor at Dublin City University, Ireland. Heheld the chair of Political Science at the South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University (1994-2014), and was Visiting Research Professor and Director of the Institute of South Asian Studies at National University Singapore.
