War and Peace is an opera by Sergey S. Prokofyev in 13 scenes which premiered in 1946. Coproduced by the Bayerischen Staatsoper and the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona.

The libretto was created by Prokofyev together with his wife Mira A. Prokofyeva after Lev N. Tolstoy’s novel of the same name.
