Joana Mallwitz is a shooting star among conductors: Acclaimed by her peers, sought after by festivals and orchestras around the world, and beloved by her audiences for her spirited and precise performances and supreme communication skills. Among many “firsts” and awards, she is the first woman to conduct a leading Berlin orchestra, the Konzerthausorchester.

The RG Munich attends the season’s 5th Akademiekonzert (sold out long in advance) at the Bayerische Staatsoper with Mallwitz as guest conductor of the world-renowned Staatsorchester. On the program:
