The next “Heidelberg Talks Online” meeting (in English!) takes place on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, 7 pm – 8.30 pm CET (GMT/UTC +1). The topic will be:

“10 years after Mandela´s death – Whither South Africa?”

The speaker will be Professor Verne Harris, Acting CEO of the Nelson Mandela Foundation and Mandela’s archivist from 2004 until his death in 2013. Mr. Harris is also an adjunct professor at Nelson Mandela University and the recipient of honorary doctorates from the University of Cordoba in Argentina and the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He held the Follet Chair at Dominican University (Chicago) and received archival publication awards from Australia, Canada and South Africa.
