Taiwan’s Journey towards Democracy and Human Rights

The speaker will be Dr. Chen-Chang Lai, member of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of Taiwan. Mr. Lai earned his PhD degree at National Taiwan University (Institute of Business Administration) in Taipeh and his MBA degree at National Sun-Yat-sen University (Institute of Business Management) in Kaohsiung, the second largest city of Taiwan. He has also served as a visiting scholar at Harvard University/USA. Before joining the NHRC, he was the chairperson of the Taiwan Association of University Professors and also held many other leading positions in Taiwanese society.
