Three times a year, Munich jazz bands provide smooth rhythms and lively sounds in the studio of the sculptor Adolf von Hildebrand. His former villa houses the Monacensia, which is the city of Munich’s literary archive and a research library on the history and cultural life of Munich. A very cool and classy location. The Café Mon mixes sophisticated drinks and serves small dishes. The Monacensia exhibitions are open until 10 p.m. on this day. If you haven’t visited the Erika Mann exhibition which we recently recommended, you can do so in conjunction with the concert. The other exhibitions are interesting too.

The Organic Orchestra is a ‘minimal jazz’ quartet. The four musicians move subtly and fluently between new interpretations of standards and modern original compositions. More: https://www.organic-orchestra.de/
