Beuren, 29. April 2018 10:25 to 0:00

The DAAD Freundeskreis Tübingen organizes a trip to the open-air museum Beuren (www.freilichtmuseum-beuren.de) on Sunday, 29th April. The open-air museum offers an amazing insight about how the villagers were living some decades/centuries ago in Swabia (part of Baden-Württemberg). It is a perfect opportunity to understand better German culture and traditions.

After the guided tour and some free time, we would sit down for lunch and chat in a restaurant at the entrance of the museum.

We plan with those willing to join us also a small hike up to the Hohenneuffen castle, where one has an amazing view on the Neckar valley, with views both towards Stuttgart and Tübingen. The hike up from Beuren and down to Neuffen should be about 2h in duration and has 300m elevation difference inclusive (the ascent and descent are somewhat steep), but should be totally worth it.
